C80 Solutions wins Energy Efficiency Award
C80 Solutions has been awarded Energy Consultancy of the year at the 2019 Yorkshire & Humberside Regional Energy Efficiency Awards.
Launched in July 2015 following the changes in Government Energy Efficiency Policy, the Energy Efficiency awards (previously known as the Green Deal & ECO Awards) were set up to help motivate the energy efficiency sector in their delivery of the Green Deal Finance Initiative and Energy Company Obligation Scheme. The aim of the Energy Efficiency Awards is to provide public recognition for the excellent work the Energy Efficiency sector is doing in implementing energy efficiency schemes and encouraging best practice within the industry as it works to improve UK housing stock.
C80 Solutions was chosen from a shortlist of local companies to clinch the title of Regional Energy Consultancy of the Year. This category focusses the delivery of a service that has demonstrated clear energy savings for the organisation’s clients. With over 2500 energy assessments carried out by C80 Solutions over the last year, the company has helped hundreds of housebuilders, architects and commercial developers save money and make their buildings more energy efficient by providing informed, practical advice.
Mark Heptonstall, founder and MD at C80 Solutions said, “Winning this much-coveted award is a testimony to the hard work of our highly-qualified and experienced team. We are extremely proud of the many projects we have undertaken in helping our clients create more ecologically sustainable buildings.”
The awards are comprised of 22 different categories, each of which focuses on a particular area of energy efficiency or service. The winners were announced on Friday 5th July 2019 at an awards dinner held at the Hilton Hotel, Sheffield.
