Having been qualified as a Level 4 Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) for 10 years, we’re pleased to announce that Tracey Walsh, our Commercial Energy Consultant has successfully passed her Level 5 NDEA.
Tracey took the decision to progress her qualifications because of the growing demand from clients for more specialist services. “Having already qualified as a BREEAM Assessor, I wanted to use and expand the experience that I had gained so far,” said Tracey. “A number of clients had expressed an interest in us supplying a few additional services and having the Level 5 NDEA means we’ll now be able to do that without outsourcing. This gives the clients the reassurance that they are working with us directly, so they’ll get the same straightforward, consistent, open and honest service that they’ve become used to receiving”.
The Level 5 assessments mean that C80 Solutions will also able to offer more complex commercial guidance to those who need it, by way of more intricate software – Dynamic Simulation Modelling. This takes into account a larger amount of detail than the iSBEM software than the company had previously been using. “As Building Regulations for both residential and commercial development will only become more stringent, a more detailed and accurate approach to these assessments should be seen as a positive thing. The savings made by carrying out a more accurate and detailed evaluation will be quite evident,” said Tracey.
C80 Solutions is now in a position to offer clients the following additional services:
- Thermal Modelling
- Overheating Calculation and Risk Minimisation
- Larger, complex BRUKL reports & EPCs
